Technical Documentation Writer • Remote • January 2025 – October 2025

  • Drove documentation strategy and developer experience for Weaviate's open source vector database, supporting AI native developers and enterprise customers across deployment, operations, and optimization workflows.
  • Owned end to end deployment documentation strategy, improving time to first deployment and onboarding for Kubernetes, Helm, and EKS based installations.
  • Authored high impact content on Day 0 to Day 2 operations, horizontal scaling, and latency optimization, positioning documentation as a differentiator for production readiness.
  • Reduced deployment friction for EKS users by collaborating on tools such as the EKS Configurator, which generates validated YAML from an intuitive interface and bridges the gap between docs and implementation.
  • Established documentation driven feedback loops with engineering and support, using user pain points and tickets to influence feature improvements and documentation priorities.

AI powered interactive portfolio experience

  • Designing an AI powered interactive résumé using a retrieval augmented generation architecture with OpenAI GPT 4o and a vector database to showcase modern documentation and knowledge workflows.
  • Training a custom agent on my documentation samples, portfolio projects, and talks so visitors can explore my work and approach to developer experience through natural language.
  • Positions documentation as an intelligent, conversational layer instead of static text alone, highlighting how AI can support developer education and discovery.

EKS Configurator

Developer tool to support Weaviate on EKS | View Demo

  • Built a web based configurator that automates EKS cluster configuration for Weaviate deployments, helping users generate validated YAML through a guided UI.
  • Bridges documentation and implementation by encoding best practices directly into the tool, reducing deployment time and making the path from "how to" guide to working cluster much shorter.
  • Demonstrates how developer tools, examples, and docs can work together to improve developer experience for production workloads.

CloudDani

Documentation focused portfolio built on AWS

  • Built a full stack cloud resume style site using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, AWS S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, Route 53, DynamoDB, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
  • Uses a serverless architecture similar to the platforms I document, while treating the site itself as a documentation experience with clear navigation, case study style project write ups, and content tailored to developer experience and documentation leadership roles.
